This summer I developed a new interest in running thanks to the East Lansing Run Club. ELRC serves the East Lansing, Lansing, and Okemos communities, offering a welcoming space for runners, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone looking to connect with others.

Establishing a strong brand identity for the run club is crucial for attracting more participants and increasing local visibility, especially targeting the young and active demographic within the nearby Michigan State University. Building a recognizable brand is the first step toward transforming the club from a community group into a well-known entity in East Lansing and beyond.

To help the club achieve this goal, I developed a detailed proposal to help define the club's visual identity. A well-defined brand is essential for ensuring consistent recognition which can lead to increased engagement, attracting new members and high-profile sponsors. A strong brand presence also opens up opportunities for potential business ventures, such as merchandise sales, enhancing the club's overall growth and impact. So far, ELRC has formed partnerships with well-known brands such as Lululemon, The Feed, and sports beverage companies LMNT and Slate.
